After the initial scene where the HMS Surprise gets attacked Crowe decides to refit the ship at sea, intead of tramping around the Amazon looking for a mast/wood etc.
Does this mean they had the exta wood on board to carry out the repairs? Or did they have to go on land, get the wood, and do the repairs on the move when back out at sea?
