You want to be careful in who you chose as a sparring partner. Sometime when you spar with someone much better than yourself, you become a "defensive" fighter. Meaning you learn to only survive in the ring and not become an aggresive attacker. You get so used to getting beat up that your style of boxing turns into covering up and running instead of attacking and going for points. I suggest finding someone more at your level or at least someone with skill that will help you learn also and not just use you as a punching bag. I cover this more in my online coarse at AAA Boxing. |
