I suggest competing in multiple sports or activities to improve yourself as a boxer. I know many boxers that also do, for example, kick boxing, Judo, cross country running, swimming, etc. Some, even though it sounds crazy, do ballet to improve on balance and agility. Working different muscles will help you in those unordinary situations where your boxing muscles aren't the main ones being used. - Good Luck!
