Sounds like you're not a hard puncher, so you should try to take your opponent down using speed instead of strenght. Try to practice more on a speedbag.

i don't think so

i don't think that's right. i think you're not throwing your shoulders and torquing your hips enough. The good boxer does not sole relly on strength, but the body mechanics befroe and during the punch. it's what makes an ameture punch diff from a pro one.

ko punch

a knock out comes from the snap of the neck what you want to do is land clean on the chin forcing the head to snap back or turn it's the twist of your aponents neck cutting off the air to the rest of the body causing him to drop you want to LAND ON THE CHIN NOT THE JAW THE CHIN if you snap his head fast enough he'll drop

knockouts arent about just power it has to do with timing and impact of your punch your apponent probably sees your blows coming or expects em you should go to the body for about the first minuite then sneek a good quick punch to the chin or temple i mainly aim for the temple the ko punches are the ones they dont see comin or dont exspect when you go to the body good it drops your apponents hands and takes there mind off there head and then you throw a quick head shot when they expect a bodyshot right before you throw that headshot you should fake a bodyshot tip weights dont realy increase your power in punches if you want to workout your power do lots of pushups and punch the heavy bag squats also help punching power because bealive it or not punching power also comes from your legs im about 185 and 18 years old and i been droping guys bigger than me since i was 16 we streetbox all the time get back with me and tell me how it went

Turn your hands over.

Throw straight punches and turn your hands over. Make sure your punch lands at the end of your range. Watch Tommy Hearns.

!!!!!!!!!!!

What you need to do just before you punch is stop standing on the balls of your feet and become flat footed then just as you are about to punch twist your arm boh of these things will give you about a 60% increse in strength and power!!!!!!!!

That is about the dumbest thing i've ever heard. If you are flat footed and your opponent counter attacks, then you're in deep ****. You won't be able to move anywhere.
