I hear clearly that the cornetist copied Bix during his solo in bars 9, 10 and 11 (at 2 min. 12 sec). It's the same that Bix played in his solo in "Three Blind Mice" with Tram, Rollini, Lang, etc... some months before, and in bars 9, 10 and 11 too!
But in this case, he added two notes at the end of the phrase.
