Hello Albert - I think the exact dates as given by Online Discographical Project (May 14th 1925 and June 4th 1925) are merely the dates that Plaza allocated the Pathe masters for release on their group of labels (Banner, Oriole, etc.) - Original ledgers still exist at Sony BMG for recording dates, but do not exist for the Pathe company, unfortunately. It is only due to the diligence of contractor / bandleader Ed Kirkeby that today we know exact recording dates (on the California Ramblers Pathe / Perfect sessions); all other entries in Rust re recording dates (from the onset of Pathe up to it's absorption by Plaza / ARC in late 1929) are approximations, and are gleaned thanks to the information we have from the Kirkeby ledgers.
