Well, it's easy to see why so many people, who actually know who Bix is, believe the myth. The myth has always been more popular than the truth. It's been promoted more than the truth has. I'm just thrilled Johnny Depp, and others, even know who Bix was! That's a start. Now all of Johnny's millions of fans will have, at least, heard the name, "Bix Beiderbecke," and a few will even check out who the fellow is, out of curiosity. That's not so bad.
