I spent one day in Davenport on June 7, 2009 attending a meeting of the Bix Museum Planning Committee.
It turned out to be a very productive meeting. Various aspects of the future museum were discussed its location within the Putnam Museum,
the general content of the exhibit stations, timelines, acquisitions, technical details about the construction, approaches in fund raising, etc. The exchange of concepts, ideas, and opinions was vigorous and fruitful.
Additional information will be forthcoming in a Bix Museum brochure and a dedicated website, both under development at this time.
