January 21-Bix suffers physical breakdown in his room at the Cleveland Hotel.

January 25-Paul left Bix in Cleveland to recuperate.

January 29- Ray Miller records Cradle of Love in Chicago.

Here these historical facts tell me Bix couldn't possibly have been on Cradle of Love. If he had a breakdown on Jan. 21 and was recuperating on January 25 then no way would he have been in any shape to play a solo on a record made 4 days later. His physical condition on Jan. 25 could not have improved as much as him being able to be on a recording and play a solo only 4 days later.
