Since I didn't have your personal Email address, I had to use the forum to answer your question. Evidently, things changed since 1985 and you do have to renew your Bix Beiderbecke Memorial Society dues each year. I checked with Murial Voss on the subject and that's what she determined.
Quite frankly, anyone who loves this music and who loves Bix, should belong to the BBMS. Dues helps fund the annual fest and also pays for the 4 newletters each year. The newsletter keeps you informed about plans for the upcoming fest and all things Bix!
BBMS U. S. membership is $20 per year. Alaska, Hawaii & foreign membership is $25. Youth membership (to age 18) is $10 annually. The dues may be sent to:
