One of the two pieces of evidence presented to support the hypothesis that the Conn Victor cornet in the Jazzens Museum belonged to Bix is his special way of holding the cornet. Did Bix really hold the cornet in a peculiar way? If so, how unique was it?
Chris Tyle tells me that "A wear mark on the horn? Are we to believe that Bix was the only person who held his horn that particular way. I think not."
Other opinions?
