I totally agree with the points in both Brad's posts. But classing other musicians who played with Bix as also being geniuses, as Albert does, is I think bandying the term genius about too much. Bing, a genius? I don't think so. If Bing, Tram, Lang, Murray, Rollini etc were geniuses, what was Bix? Is it possible to have such a thing as a super genius. I think not. Surely the term stands on its own.
