The above information wasn't EXACTLY intended as a post on this Forum (I shoulda said something, Albert) - more a broadside to my music mailing list. But since it's up, I can only recommend that Forumites with a fondness for ragtime, who live within shouting distance of Fullerton California, shake a leg and attend. Some ace pianists will be on hand, doing not only the classic rags (nothing wrong with that!) but advanced novelty stuff of the '20s. Two orchestras will play for dancing. The ticket price is ZERO.
Of interest to Bix-o-philes: Our little "UnUrban Irregulars" group on Saturday will play "What Kind o' Man Is You?" by Hoagy, and "Three Blind Mice," of Chicago Loopers fame.
