in my opinion. Definitely in my top ten pianists. But I believe Bix took an entire chorus on Sweet Sue, one of the few chances we get to hear how Bix was thinking in those days, at least on the cornet. (When I was a kid, I didn't recognize that masterpiece as a cornet solo, and for several years I thought it was some kind of saxophone, and didn't know who was playing it.)
