Within the time frame of Jazz you seem to enjoy most Albert I consider you a very good judge of what Is good. It just surprises me that you never comment on later works or other composers (Ellington, Stan Kenton, Gil Evans for example) or later players Clifford Brown, Miles Davis, Lee Morgan and others who were influenced by Bix. Do you really not enjoy their music ? Or- is it a two-beat; four to the bar kind of thing? I'm Just curious.
