By 1926, when the Goldkette band played ....

.... Jimmy Dorsey was no longer a regular member of Goldkette's band. He was hired when the band came to New York. Joe Venuti was also hired for recordings, but his name does not appear in the Billoard article. Around this time Goldkette's band recorded Dinah, with Steve Brown beating the daylights out of his string bass and Joe Venuti taking a nice solo.
