My wife and I visited the museum for the first time over the weekend. I've been immersed in Bix since 1963 but my wife has never been bitten. She was blown away by the museum, how so much information and artifacts are packed into a compact space. It's use of space is perfect, a model for any other museum. After 50-plus years of listening, reading, and collecting of everything Bix, I still learned much from this treasure. My overall impression: how warm the museum is. Warmth in the colors, the displays, the music which is so appropriate for Bix whose music, to me, is above all else warm.
