Chris writes: "The attached photo (held by Getty) features Tempest Stevens, a singer and dancer who is named in both the LA Times and Chicago Tribune stories about Murray’s accident (see attached). The Chicago Tribune identifies her as Murray’s fiancée, and that he had just visited her before he was found. The LA Times calls her “Mrs.”… but then they call Murray a cornetist! She is billed as a “petite soubrette, direct from Hollywood, “ in vaudeville ads in the Cincinnati Enquirer in May 1927."
