A possibility

by Mark Gabrish Conlan

The auction listing describes the item as a "prop trumpet." It might be the one used by Brian Donlevy when he played a jazz trumpeter in the 1941 film "Birth of the Blues," in which Bing Crosby started as a jazz clarinetist and singer and Jack Teagarden essentially played himself as the band's trombonist.
