      .... four times, and consistently. It was not a typo. The only time I got the correct spelling was when I cut and pasted from the article in the Quad City Times.

      My consistent misspelling of Elvis's name as Prestley was the result of the "hybridization" in my brain of the correct spelling Presley with the last name of Joseph Priestley, the discoverer of oxygen, one of my favorite elements in the periodic table.

      Incidentally, I don't "get all bent out of shape" when I see Bix's last name misspelled. I point out misspellings for the sake of accuracy.
