      Paul's video with automatons ("Robot Jazz Band") playing jazz reminds me of "Dr. Phibes Clockwork Wizards" in the film "The Abominable Dr. Phibes."

      Dr. Phibes, played by Vincent Price,  was a musician who, among other things, created a mechanical jazz orchestra, "Dr. Phibes Clockwork Wizards." Some of the tunes the band played were "Darktown Strutters Ball," "All I Do Is Dream of You," "A Hundred Years From Today," etc. The complete film is available on youtube in 10 parts.

      There was a sequel, "Dr. Phibes Rises Again." In the sequel there is a character named Darius Biederbeck, pronounced "Byederbeck."
