I also found out that Del Delbridge recorded with Albert Short and His Tivoli Syncopators. See

Delbridge played in n the Capitol Theatre in Chicago in 1926-1927. There he was billed as Del Delbridge and His Capitol Merrymakers.

His band also appeared at the Trianon.

In 1930 he was in Detroit first as musical conductor of the band in the Fisher Theatre and then as the leader of the band in the Book Cadillac Hotel. (Connection to Goldkette and through Goldkette to Bix). He was also a business man and, in partnership with Ray Gorrell, he had a booking agency. Delbridge still had an orchestra in the late 1940s and he had a cross country tour in 1948 to promote the new 1949 Oldsmobile.

      Albert
