  • Repeat of PBS "History Detectives" Spotlighting Gennett Records

      Word is that PBS is repeating the show this week featuring Gennett Records in Richmond, Indiana, in the early 1920s.

      I still wish "History Detectives" would do a show about that (fake) Bix cornet in the Norwegian museum or some such Bix mystery. I sent them the link, but got no response. Bah! Chris Tyle pretty well debunked that claim for us, but it would be some good exposure for Bix to a different audience.
