Newsday reports NYC Consumer Affairs Commissioner Gretchen Dykstra was named CEO the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation during a press conference at the private viewing area just south of the WTC at Liberty and Washington.
The Foundation which will own and operate the memorial needs $500 million to build it and an additional $200 million for the Cultural Center.
