The Freedom Tower makes a star turn in Star Wars - Episode III.
Coruscant, capital of the Republic (soon to be Evil Empire) has a collection of buildings which resemble the world’s tallest buildings including the Petronas Towers, Empire State Building and Burj Dubai.
While George Lucas has said the script which was conceived 30 years ago does not reflect current political realities, you would have to be deaf and blind not to see the parallels.
The council blindly gives Chancellor Palpatine/Darth Sidious the power to turn the Republic into the Evil Empire so that he can deal with an ongoing war.
However before Anakin becomes Darth Vader he shares a really cool apartment with Padme and they have postcard views of all the skyscrapers — especially the Freedom Tower.
For what it’s worth we’re not the only ones noticing the skycrapers. Miami says its own Freedom Tower is in the movie.
