I do not know anyone who is afraid to travel. Travel of the world on business is how I have made my living for about 75% of my career. I also travel on my own money.

This is not a political forum yet I know Big V has no problem with honest discourse.
As you know our President (current) is anti stem cell research except with few exceptions if it uses USA tax payer money - a matter of his Christian view forced upon most of us.
He however stands by and still supports his invasion of Iraq just to take out a very bad man. You may notice very few other countries supported this effort. Its unique that the USA does not as a matter of policy count the dead on the other side of any war. Body counts are taken of course, yet never published.
Numbers range on the Web from 10s of Thousands to over 100,000 and we do count our own loses at close to 5,000 and of course there are USA contractors and other country body counts and the massive number of wounded.
For me this is a matter of what I hate. To take out just one man no matter what the cost. He was a very bad man. But was it worth taking out over 100,000 humans? Two shoes were thrown to make a point and most of those in Iraq, support the message.

Many think that Goerge Bush is nice man, but he could not walk about the world in freedom without at least 100 body guards heavily armed for the rest of his life, which is a sad reflection on how he has upset so many people. The shoe incident just reminds us all that it is better to make friends and forgive the past errors, rather than to look for more countries to wage war with.
