I am taking birth control pills, and Saturday i took just one antibiotic pill. I finished my birth control pills blister on Wednesday. Is it safe to have sex on Friday if i start a new blister on Thursday?

Why not just play it safe and use a condom or keep sex to Oral. Sex is about all kinds of play with so many options, why bother to worry.

i am wondering why you only took one antibiotic? if it was perscribed by your Dr. you could also ask the pharmisist. however when i was on birth control years ago i didnt even know antibiotics could effect them and i never got pregnant. but i do agree with A DUDE best to play it safe for the next month. have fun and experiment you might find something you really like.

Every woman who is on Oral contrceptives should be fitted with a diaphragm. have a supply of condoms and contraceptive Vaginal jelly. She can forget a pill or if she has a high temperature. Or has jet lag. In those cases the modern low dose pills may not work.In these cases she should use one of the above contraceptives until her next period. It is a good idea to practice using these methods as an altenative
