This taste issue has come up over the couple of years I have used this forum.
First from my experience and I am a guy into giving a gal lots of Oral and just love being down there - I describe the taste as on the acid side - not sweet - not like a lemon but maybe on the edge of drops of lemon in water. Sometimes a lot stronger depending on - was there time for a shower or was in later in the evening after dancing etc. Time of month may affect strength - I cannot remember a bitter taste -
I know my own ejaculation can on rare occasions have a bitter bite like black pepper to it. Mine according to gals is never salty and can be on the sweet side. From minimal self experience I know this is true.
Seems most of the women in my life do taste themselves - One would not let me go down on her until she checked herself out first. If too strong she would run to the shower first.
I bet not smoking would in every way improve your life.
