Normal?March 1 2007 at 3:38 PM | Dispirited girl (no login) |
| A question I've been wondering about. I'm 19 and have been with my boyfriend 2 years...we have had sex quite a lot but its always hurt for me (we do take our time and use lots of lube but it doesn't make a difference). It's a very superficial pain, like its something at the entrance that is hurting.
When I had a close look at my vagina opening there is a pinky/grayish bit sort of blocking the hole that has a mucous covering...is this normal? Could this be what hurts me during sex?
Thanks |

1: Do you remember the first time and was your Hymen intact?
2: What is you body skin color?
3: Besides the gray color you described - How would you describe the color around this "grey" Example how would you describe the color of your Labia?
4: Assuming you masturbate? Is any part of this painful? |

I had sex the first time when I was 14 and there was blood. I am very fair skinned and my labia is a very dark pinkish colour. It doesn't hurt when I masturbate but I do it externally...it does hurt when I use fingers.
I have taken a picture...does anyone know of a doctor or gynacology website I could maybe ask an opinion from? |

============I think this is really easy to figure out - I am the anon who asked the questions.
You first said "It's a very superficial pain, like its something at the entrance that is hurting.

============That was why I asked you about the color of your Labia. From my experience Hymens are on the pink side when the surrounding tissue is also pink and on the Gray side when the Labia is darker in color.
So I think that you still have much of your Hymen left and I have seen this a number of times.
So your fingers or your partners penis is pulling on it and that is that background pain you feel.
I know that this is simple for a Doctor to correct for you and is a simple office visit - besides anyone 19 should see a doctor for a pelvic exam anyway.
The first time you had sex made the opening of your Hymen larger but did not tear away all the tissue. Not uncommon - It took me several days to enter one GF years ago because of thickness and there was still a lot left after I entered.
So see a doctor and become pain free. |
