So now to answer the 14 yr boys question - Simple - Become a friend of hers - Always start out with friendship and build a relationship from there. Treat her with respect and go slow.

Re my advice- Confidence. There is nothing more attractive than a man with confidence (within the framework of his being nice, having integrity etc..) Its hard to have it sometimes, especially when you are feeling vulnerable. But ways that I pick up on it are these: he is polite and helps to make me feel more comfortable because he can see that I am shy or nervous. Rather than focusing on your own fear or nervousness, take it upon yourself to alleviate any she might have. Initiate conversation. Ask questions. "WHats the first thing you do on Saturday morning?" or "WHat so you think is the creepiest? Clowns or dolls?" (I don't know!--I'm just trying to be creative!) LEt her know you notice something special about her-- like say- "I like the way you smile when you talk to people. Its really nice." And DO some activity with her. SOmething silly maybe but ultimately fun. I always been amazed at how fun bowling is. Its kitchy. Its a bizarre environment- but its really really fun. It creates situations wherein you laugh, you playfully compete which can lead to a little flirtation. ANd then there is always the "let me show you how to ..."
It is also very very very attractive when a person is able to laugh at themselves. That shows confidence.
I bet you're a pretty good catch. Just the facts that you have a curious mind and you are a comunicator tell me that.

I'd suggest saying to her, Hey upto anything much at the weekend, She'll reply something like No or yeah I'm doing blah. If she says no say something like "fancy going to the cinema, bowling, doing something u'd both enjoy". From that question you'll get a yeh sure or a flat down no! IF replys oh I'm going out with my girlfriends this weekend then offer another day. See what she says, it can't hurt.
Then follow up the date with the I really enjoyed tonight fancy doing something else next week.....
