Here's the deal.....

Shaved, groomed, and even fluffy (but not too hairy) pubic hair can all look really beautiful and sexy. Think of men's facial hair: clean shaven can look good, as can a tightly-groomed beard, or even a slightly scruffy one. No Grizzly Adams though.

If you are not going to totally shave, be mindful of a few things...No matter how neatly groomed in length, keep the overall size of it reasonable. Avoid looking like you have home plate at Yankee Stadium between your legs.

Also, sometimes really tightly groomed pubic lengths can feel scratchy to guys.

As for totally shaved ones, I'm personally getting bored with them. Nothing wrong with it if a woman wants, and it was exciting as the trend took off ten or more years ago, but it's not for everyone. It's like men who shave their heads -- looks great on some, ok on most, and bad on quite a few. How to decide if you're a good candidate? I suppose you just try it and see.

Unlike breasts which are much more obvious, and so popularly reduced, augmented, etc. Pubic hair grooming that appeals most to men is a bit of a mystery. 9 out 10 women I date have some version of a "Miami Vice " stubble in either a triangle )often going too high up) or something really random like a thin racing strip. The landing strip is also popular. Personally, I find much of it too contrived, and wish they'd simplify it. Reduce the square inches of hair, and grow it out slightly.

The bottom line is that pubic hair and the vaginas it compliments are with rare exceptions incredibly beautiful body parts. Men should make a point of stopping for a second before diving in to admire the beauty, and don't hesitate to tell a woman her vagina is very pretty, and her whole body.

I dated a man who really only wanted me to shave . It was art of his whole deal. Then I dated another who only liked it shaved. I like it shaved right after when its like velvet, but thats it. I am tired of the shaved look too. I have had a thin line and now I have a small soft low area about -- i'm checking....- about an inch and a half wide in a rounded triangle shape. Thats how it looks in front but as one travels further back :) I do often still shave there.
I have noticed that a man who shaves himself- his sac and whole area, also tends to be a man who likes the woman to shave.
Is this true, Men?
ANyway, I agree, Will. I like a soft smallish area. And I put almond oil on it/ "her" so its shiny and soft. :)
