How about when old Edward is drinking water all the time at the end? (Like a fish).
The doctor tells the french wife exactly how many months she is pregnant and the sex of the child. (Is this so that the husband will tell his son later in life about the doctor in a prophetic way as did his father about the old witch and how he dies?)
How about when Edward robs the bank with Steve Buscemi? Is that them just trying to get a loan together?
