Actually, it's the parking lot of a defunct grocery store, with an "attached outbuilding" housing a Big Lots discount store (not the original occupant... ...can't remember used to be there).

Looking in the direction opposite the one I took that shot, you could see 10 or 15 cars. I parked a row away from the bunch & some carts left here & there and noticed the shadows when I came out of the Big Lots.
