| The low level strafing and bombing attacks virtually crippled Manston, which was right on the coast. A favourite place for Jerry's, streaking for home, to get rid of any ammo they might still have. The low level attack by Do17s on Kenley was a stunner, though very costly to the attackers. The fact that Jerry met determined opposition whatever he tried... only confused the bastards even more as to wot, tactically, was working and wot wasn't!
