He beat me to it. We have 11 (count 'em eleven) big screen TV's on the main floor where I work. At any given time four or five of them are news. I dreaded this week and the undending media coverage of the 911 thing that's about to ensue. I even planned on taking vacation all this week so I could sit at home with the TV and radio off (other than DVD's and CD's) and pretend the whole thing didn't happen. And by whole thing I mean the media whoring. Well, someone(s) beat me to that too. Two people already took vacation for the week so now I can't.
Now that I think of it, I'm goig to confront those two and accuse them of being assholes for trying to duck out on the 9-11 commemorations, discussions, political posturing, ratings rakings ad nauseum. That should be fun and might make up for the fact that I'm going to be drowning in it all. Now I'm in a good mood as well as being an anti-9-11 asshole.
