      I just could not imagine you abdicating all control of your vote.

      I just cant bring myself to skip one.Even control over a set of bad choices is still some control. we hasve less of that every year. And anything you give away is almost imposible to get back.

      Loki you dont need machines to program results. Last time here in Washington a Rep won the goovernersgip, but it was close. So the Dems demanded a recount, and lo and behold somebody "found some 800 more ballots. Still was not enough to get the Dem ahead, so they had a second recount, and "found" 5-600 more votes, which finaly put the Dems ahead by 138 votes. As they had the result they wanted, no more recounts. Makes for a lot of faith in the whole proccess.
