      I watched some footage from Vicksburg on one of the networks over the weekend, trying to figure out just how high the water was, but I couldn't place where they were. It doesn't seem that damage to the business district, what there is of it, should be too great.

      That would be both because of the topography and the fact that there isn't much to the Vicksburg business district. Unfortunately, minimal damage will not be a rule of thumb on the Miss and its tributaries and other rivers in the region I'm afraid. sad.gif
