      A 2k bomb detonated at over 18,000 feet. So that means these guys are three miles away from an atomic detonation wich has about 1/8th the strength of the Hiroshima bomb and with zero chance of fallout.

      How does that demonstrate the test parameters? Hell yes it's safe and therefore (other than EMP) also of limited military effectiveness. What were they trying to "prove" to the slack-jaw brass at the Pentagon? That nuclear weapons are safe? That it's OK to ground blast a 20 kiloton bomb 2 miles away from our own ground troops? Probably.

      Still, I wouldn't want to stand underneath there.
