Recipe for rum soaked cherries.

Take one jar of maraschino cherries and pour out liquid. Replace with good quality, dark rum, filling it to the brim. Put the lid back on and tighten. Put jar away in a dark cupboard for at least two weeks. When you finally re-open the jar, you'll have some truly mellow, great tasting, rum soaked cherries that pack a serious whallop!

I don't like rum or cherries, but the soaked sounds good. I think I'll try cashews soaked in beer. I'll get back to you on how that goes. happy.gif
