Ordnance Museum Moved....

It is now at Ft. Lee, with some of the vehicles that have not been restored still at Aberdeen. The move was to be completed by the end of 2011. The Ordnance School was also sent to Ft. Lee.

Dr. Atwater, museum curator, retired in 2007. He was incredibly gracious to both myself and my students on our visits to the facility.

In relation to Aberdeen, I mean. I'll probably never get to either one... ...just curious.

found Ft. Lee in Virginia, near Petersburg, just south of Richmond.

However, no clue where Aberdeen is, except one that mapquest found across the pond...
the big pond.

Should have used Aberdeen Proving Ground. Bad use of a shortened reference that I thought would be understood by all! APG is NE of Baltimore.
