| - Hmm... I just read in the news that Johnny Depp has branded himself a "failure"
This from a new story that was actually about how how his film - "Pirates of the Carribean" - had just netted $408 million at the box office.
To quote:
"If anything, mine has been a career of failures. I think I'm getting all this attention right now because people feel sorry for me. I'm an underdog."
Huh, failure? Underdog?!? What? When you're married to Vanessa Paradis, live in France, and get paid millions of dollars for a few months work at a time?
Johnny, somehow I don't think most of us would call that a failure. |

.... he is just exposing his inner self, as Johnny so unselfishly does both in print and soooo on the screen. This guy is so the thinking woman's porn star, you dont have to see it, to feel it, it just is.
Johnny JUST SO is ..... |

... while certainly not his best
(definitely no perv value)
it just goes to highlight his versatility
Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas
Depp & Co go on a visually sumptuous yet largely
plotless ramble through the American Midwest
in this classic drugs parable.
Depp is Thompson's alter-ego Raoul Duke,
heads for the gambling mecca with lawyer
Dr Gonzo (Del Toro) and an awesome quantity of illegal
substances in tow.
Depp and Del Toro blunder through the wild territory
of the drug-induced mind like a narcotically-challenged
Bevis & ButtHead.
Bizarre, unpredictable yet strangely alluring.
