Anyhow in Something New ...comes a story of a Black Woman (Sanna Lathan) and her blind date (Simon Baker) a white dude...Sanna is an accountant, soon to be made a partner in an respectable accounting firm ...whilst Simon on the other hand is a landscaper architect...Sanna with work pressure on her shoulders n her views on relationship and dating ..was too much in her competitive career ..and simon wasnt her ideal man ..but hired him as her landscaper to fix her back yard ..her views changed when Simon invited her for hiking in the neighborhood then she realised that ..simon was the kindda person that she was able to open up to ,free to talk...n was able to have adventure and fun with ...
with culture pressure and peer pressure ..even parents ..she had to make her own choice in choosing btw a tax lawyer and simon ...would she be happy with the tax lawyer or simon ???
