Don't have too high of expectations, things can and will go wrong. We are human.
i'd love to say don't have the first encounter be sexual, but i know many disregard that idea as well, but it will all come down to what you are comfortable with.
Most importantly is to have your own safety in mind with your safe calls, which i have never done ~whacks myself~ Fortunately my rt meetings have gone off wonderfully, even as recently as yesterday ~smiles~ Sadly, they had to leave because His slave was allergic to my cats and couldn't breath by the middle of the night ~chuckles~ but we did have the time to sit and enjoy each others company, and bond more during that time after our hours of online talking and phone calls and make plans for future get togethers, at their place where there are no cats ~grins~
i won't say don't be nervous, that is easier said than done, in the past i have gone from not being able to sleep the night before, to not being able to eat last night sitting next to Him at dinner. i think what helped the most once i was face to face with others from online was that i was extremely honest and open beforehand, so there were no surprises once the meetings took place.
