My subcultures:
- alternate religious beliefs - mainly Christian, but rejecting pure "acceptance" of what the church teaches and searching in my heart for what is right. I also accept certain elements of paganism in my beliefs, such as the spiritual rewards of meditation and self examination, the use of candles, crystals, incense to focus my intent and as a form of prayer, and trusting my more spiritual side to guide me when I am in need
- bisexual baby {grin}
- polyamory - my hubby and wife fulfill me, and should it ever become necessary, or desired, I know that a 4th would be welcome as well, not to mention the lack of censuring of intimate/loves/friends outside of our marriage
- alternate health: yep! I'm into herbalism (it's good for everything!), yoga (I love to be a human pretzel {lol}), aromatherapy to soothe the nerves and encourage certain states of mind, and hey! don't forget tae bo. {snicker, wince as typing makes those arm muscles twinge}
- leather honey...oooh I love leather. {grin} and latex, and rubber...I've got a black, shiny, stretchy, and TIGHT fetish. {lol}
- maybe this isn't a subculture, but I'm into responsible parenting. {soft laughter} as so many seem NOT to be anymore
- increased spirituality - I believe in spirits and the guidance and influence of them, not just the holy spirit of christianity.
Um...I know there are others, but that is some of them. {s}
