Taking a stand is great, but what do you do...just stand there? That doesn't do much good. I noticed the same thing about 9 months ago, and I took a stand too. First, my family and I designed the Velvet Glove. {grin} Second, I decided that if I were going to be in a BDSM chat room, chatting, I would make sure that I talked about BDSM. Not sex, not scening, but BDSM. Normally, even if I just buzz in to say hello to someone, I bring up a discussion about BDSM.
Not much maybe, but I do agree with the point you make, I have noticed, and I am trying to do something about it. I also freely voice my opinion that BDSM is not all about sex, and try to get others to think about things, rather than just going along with the crowd.
