As for atypical relationships? I don't think so. I know a LOT of people in 24/7 RT relationships, and for 99.99% of them...it is NOT all about sex. And I would say that for the majority of them, the mental aspect is the biggest draw/anchor. Are you doing it right? If you are happy, then HELL yeah!! As for those that have a BDSM relationship w/out the levels you have...it's all a matter of definition and levels of desire. What's right for you and your partner(s).
