Deceived or deceiver?

Greetings A/all,

I wish W/we had a different medium to discuss this for the breadth and depth of My thoughts and opinions on this subject are far too extensive to cover here. I will attempt a response. (Many of Y/you will see My cold logic kitten has spoken of before. *S*)

I start by answering the question(s) with a question. To quote Rene’ Descartes “It is prudent never to trust completely those who have deceived us even once.” So based on that statement My question is, Can Y/you honestly say there is no one who has ever deceived Y/you? How do Y/you know? The only way Y/you would know is if Y/you discovered the deception. (Here is where you can tie this discussion in with the one regarding trust and consent. *S*)

Can Y/you honestly say Y/you have never deceived A/anyone else?
What constitutes deception?

If Y/you have come to the conclusion that Y/you are a Dom/Master/sub/slave and Y/you do not portray Y/yourself in that light outside of the BDSM world. Then are Y/you not deceiving all those in the vanilla world about W/who and what Y/you really are? If the answer to that question is “yes” then am I to conclude that I could never completely trust Y/you?

I could go on and on with this one. I feel the questions are fun to tangle with from the standpoint of debate. The down side is these are very sensitive questions that can be heavily involved with emotion because you are forcing someone to pass judgement on themselves with regard to wrong or right.

My personal view of Myself…
My name implies that I am not pure. (Tainted Knight) and that is for a reason. I will always do what I determine is best first and foremost for Me and My sub based on each individual situation. I do not look to others to make or pass judgements for Me. I hold the cat-o-nine tails and I am very comfortable in using it. S
