Lifestyle versus Diversion

Ok.. possibly opening a can of worms here so be forewarned.. the way i see it of T/those that come to D&s BDSM S/some come into it and find & embrace a new type of Lifestyle.. O/others come to find a diversion.. not running T/them down or anything is just a novelty for T/them though.. and at times creates problems when T/they don't realize that for S/some of U/us this is not just something to add spice to a relationship but is a part of the relationship.. before the question is asked i'll answer it L if there were no such thing as D&s would Mistress & i still be T/together? most probably.. and W/we'd probably invent D&s! LOL next question.. is O/our relationship dependant upon it? no.. much of the time W/we relate on a very equal basis.. but with the knowledge of O/our positions in O/our minds... so the D&s relationship could be taken away and W/we would still have a relationship.. just a less rich and enjoyable one..

Just a few more words to T/those that do use it as a diversion.. realize please that this for S/some of U/us is a large part of O/our world.. W/we invest the time, energy & commitment into learning more about it.. so please don't go charging off after reading an article or two about the Lifestyle and trying to change everything Y/you see.. that would show little consideration for T/those that have put in so much effort to live the Lifestyle..
