I suggest that "Our" refers to the members of the apostolic assemblies at large. Because "Our Salvation" is nearer than they believed, suggests that "Our Salvation" is an "assemblies event", and does not refer to the "salvation" of an individual. If that is the case, references to the salvation of an individual, would appear to be a symbolic reference to that individuals actual conversion to faith in that coming event. I suggest that the coming event is the resurrection of the Davidic kingdom, which the messiah is to receive before he brings peace on earth.
