I personally believe the higher ups in the Church know all these things just as Rabbis know them, but don't want to tell the common people for a reason;
that reason is no longer valid since so many souls are in their last days now:
the reason it was kept hidden, meaning the leaders didn't explain this truth was because it didn't help the common people GROW IN SPIRITULITY at all
Vince did a paper on this years ago about how the gnostics were overcome by the Church because instead of leading people to the truth, they MADE PEOPLE give up on the truth quicker....why? If their time was not appointed to find the truth, to be VISITED BY GOD because they were EARLY in their SIX day journey home, they stopped seeking.....didn't care since they couldn't get to the MYSTERIES (so called to the carnal mind)
if people stop caring about developing spiritually, they will not grow: there has to be a REASON TO SEEK, to knock, to ask....and if life after death (physically) is the only reason, then so be it:
for those who FIND LIFE before Physical death, they can't deny it or hide it, hence the WRITERS of the BIBLE wrote what they experienced and others read it as a PROMISE......which is TRUE, very very true till this day
the PROMISE however doesn't come necessarily after physical death....it comes while we are alive to be TRUE and FINAL
Jesus said "SOME STANDING HERE TODAY" would see the end of all things
every GENERATION IS THE LAST for some souls
in the years to come, it will be the last generation for more and more souls
what this shows is that more and more souls have come to their SEVENTH DAY, their SABBATH REST that returns them to EDEN (Hebre word for PLEASURE)
we are created for that PLEASURE OF GOD:
